Position Overview

Work Schedule

• Hybrid position with office space available.
• Flexible scheduling with afternoon, evening, or weekend availability strongly preferred.
• Consistent referral stream to support caseload development.
• Ability to maintain a reliable, consistent, and active caseload.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide individual, couples, family psychotherapy within the clinician’s scope of competence.
• Maintain an active, dependable, and consistent caseload.
• Complete progress notes, treatment plans, reassessments, treatment plan reviews, and discharge documentation accurately and within required timeframes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the organization’s Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
• Monitor client progress, safety concerns, treatment outcomes, and ongoing medical necessity.
• Coordinate care with psychiatric providers and other members of the multidisciplinary clinical team as appropriate.
• Follow HIPAA, ethical, payer, credentialing, Joint Commission, and organizational requirements.
• Participate in clinical consultation, supervision, staff meetings, and other required meetings.
• Communicate professionally and promptly with clinical and administrative staff.
• Demonstrate strong follow-through with clinical, administrative, and documentation responsibilities.

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Florida license as an LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT.
• Master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Strong clinical, documentation, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple clinical and administrative responsibilities effectively.

• Proficiency navigating electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other technology platforms.

• Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with clinical and administrative teams.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Active NPI and CAQH profile.
• Individual professional liability insurance or willingness to complete required credentialing requirements.
• Ability to complete required background screening and compliance training.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families.
• Experience working in an insurance-based behavioral health setting.
• Experience with trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
• Morning, Afternoon, evening, or Saturday availability.
• Experience working with electronic health records and multiple technology platforms.
